2. Your data stays on your device

Keepdate has no account or sign-up, shows no ads and uses no tracking or analytics. Everything you enter (entries, deadlines, notes, photos, history, settings) is stored only on your device. We have no access to it.

3. Notifications

Reminders are scheduled as local notifications on your device. No server receives your dates or content.

4. Camera and photos

If you add a photo, the app accesses the camera or photo library with your permission. The photo is downscaled and stored only locally in the app.

5. Backup

On request the app creates a backup file; you decide where to store or send it. Your operating system may also include app data in its device backup (Android Auto Backup / iCloud Backup) in your Google or Apple account if you enabled it.

6. Purchases (Keepdate Pro)

Purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store; we do not receive payment details. The app checks whether you own Keepdate Pro directly with the respective store. We run no server for this and use no other service provider; apart from the stores' anonymous sales reports we receive no data about your purchases. The privacy policies of Google or Apple apply. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

7. Website

The website keepdate.de uses no cookies and no tracking. The hosting provider (GitHub, Inc., USA; GitHub Pages) processes technically necessary server logs (e.g. IP address, time, requested page). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

8. Contact by e-mail

If you write to us, we process your e-mail address and message to answer your request and delete it once it has been handled.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR) and may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As your app data stays on your device, you can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app.

10. Children

Keepdate is intended for adults and not directed at children.
